Clint -

I'm so glad that you enjoy reading about my grandchildren. They teach me so many things. I really appreciate you support.

The principles that I discuss in most every post, here on The LDS GrandParent Place - are based in the teachings and doctrines, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.

Therefore, it is my hope - that other LDS Grandparents, will also benefit by understanding with greater clarity, the wonderful covenant relationship that we each have, with our grandchildren.

Grandpa Shayne -

Thank you. Yes, I do feel a deep commitment as a grandparent. I am so grateful for the knowledge that we have, as members of the LDS Church - of eternal families. I also have great faith in the covenants that we make in Holy Temples, which bind our families, through faithful actions are our part.

I too, was much more conscious about telling my grandchildren those things that are dearest to my heart, on this last visit. The more time I spend pondering these truths, the more I am compelled to be a better Nana :-)

I appreciate you telling us about the Grandfather's blessings that you gave your grandchildren. Faithful grandparents have the blessing of calling upon the Lord, to bless their grandchildren, and call down the powers of heaven in their behalf.

Very touching as usual, Nana. I can sense your deep commitment to your role as a grandmother. Last month, I went to visit two of my grandsons. Now I'm back again so my daughter could attend a seminar last week. I've been remembering your advice to tell my grandsons how much I love them and who they are. We attended church together yesterday. I had the privilege of giving them a Grandfather's blessing. It was a wonderful experience.
