[...] I’m here in Texas, to help out with the three younger children. Today, so far so good. I got up on time, and took Ethan to school. A one hour drive, round-trip. I will leave to pick him up after school, in just a few minutes. I also was successful in getting Elenna and Eleise to preschool; hair curled, and on time. It was picture day! I was given specific instructions of how the girls should be dressed and their hair done. I think I did pretty good. LOL [...]

Hi Clinton -
Congratulations on your upcoming first grandchild. That is so exciting. I agree, it seems as though grandmothers have all the fun. You need to stand up for yourself - and demand your grandfather time! LOL My grandkids adore their Papa as much, if not more. Perhaps it is because he IS a more rare commodity? :-)

Jon -

That is adorable! Grandchildren are definitely the icing on the cake of life. I've told one of my daughters - in particular, that she is now forgiven of everything that she ever put me through, when she was a teenager - now that she has given me such beautiful grandchildren. I don't remember a thing! LOL

We took our baby granddaughter to a ward dinner to show her off and an older member of our ward took her in her arms and said "now your grandma knows why your daddy was born." Truly a glimpse into eternity.
