Grandpa Shayne -

The time that we do have to spend with our grandchildren, should be as focused upon "them", as possible. However, I find that when we spend extended time together - they have the opportunity to see how we live, and be a part of our lives at the same time. Making sure to take "time-out" and do special things with our grandchidren during these times, is priceless.

I agree with you Nana. When I am spending time with my grandchildren, I remind myself that time is the premium resource. Other things in my life can wait. I try to focus on them, to do things they enjoy, to have fun. I volunteer to babysit at their home, sometimes for week. Since I develop websites, I can usually spend a few hours a day actually working - or at least I try. ;-)
