Hi
I have tried to set my dad (76 yesrs old) up for facebook but it was too confusing and also he didn;t like the group thing. So now I found this new service FamiliLink, which provides him with an easy to use email system, and all photos and videos send to him as email attachments, or youtube and picasa automatically get's displayed in his FamiliLink page. The good thing is that everyone else can use what they like to stay in touch with him and he feels now part of our digital lives!

Grandparents are sooo important. I like the social media avenue as a way to keep in touch. It is great for family history and hey the church has instituted this social media approach to the family history research. Giving new meaning to keeping a journal huh?

Great work nana! Great work!

I haven't got my grandparents, they passed away long time ago from this mortal world to the other but despite everything it's a really great idea and chance to connect with our grandparents via facebook without using for making business connections...Who knows, maybe oneday I and my wife will become a grandfather and grandmother as well if God gives this staff of life to us and when it happens I will remember LdsNana's blog but I've told my daughter this already :)))
